In 2017, I was awarded one of the South Carolina Arts Commission’s prestigious Artists’ Ventures Initiative Grants. These grants encourage and enable new artist-driven businesses to launch new ventures that provide career sustainability and growth by significantly changing their existing business models.

Much of a small businesses success comes from the communities in which we live and work. Therefore, I feel it’s important to give back in some way to the communities that supported my growth along the way.

That is why I support designated charities and offer a series of classes and workshops to share the business knowledge I learned to help other art businesses grow and am paying it forward through my art and business knowledge.
