LANDSCAPES & CITYSCAPES The images on this page represent a sampling of my paintings. To view more artwork, please visit the Gallery at Nonnah's on Gervais Street in Columbia, South Carolina or call me for a location near you. Some of these paintings are in private collections and are already sold, however a few are available in print form. Please see my section on fine art prints and greeting cards for more information. I will be adding new gallery locations soon. If you are a retailer, please call or email me for a catalog. |

ABSTRACTS My Abstract paintings explore color and shape as well as texture and are even inspired by patterns found from textiles in other cultures such as India. Many of the ideas for my abstracts are inspired by sailing while others are inspired from items found in nature such as trees, plants and other found materials. |

MONOTYPES A Monotype is a single print created by painting on a non-absorbent surface, generally unique, though a second, lighter impression can sometimes be made, called a ghost print. Some of my original monotypes and the majority of my ghost prints have been altered with other media such as acrylic, dye, paint or oils. Monotypes are not the same as Monoprints, in which the artist is able to duplicate the same image over and over until the substrate is no longer usable as in an etching. |
